APC – UK Shuttle Swindon Operations

We are pleased to announce that with effect from 3rd April 2018 Swift Logistics Group have taken over the APC operation for the SN, (Swindon) Postal codes from UK Shuttle.

This move will allow Wiltshire clients the ability to access one of the UK’s largest fleet of immediate response courier vehicles and a comprehensive portfolio of logistic service solutions; in addition to a newly invigorated APC operation in this exciting and vibrant commercial area.

Ultimately we have recognised the quality, integrity and reputation of UK Shuttle’s operation has been achieved by its greatest asset – it’s people - and we are proud to confirm that despite the Liquidation of UK Shuttle, we have been able to contact the majority of staff and have been able to secure positions for them to support operations through and beyond this transition.

Our initial priority will be to stabilise the operation which, for various reasons outside the local staffs control, has struggled to achieve levels of service viewed as minimum within the Swift Organization. “Assessment, Retraining and Service controls will be key – back to basics is the order of the day”, Swift will return the client’s needs and wants to where they should be – central to our focus.
